Lichfield is a Staffordshire cathedral city with a distinctly different character to the Black Country towns we cover further south. The city centre and cathedral quarter contain some of the oldest residential properties in our coverage area — Georgian townhouses, Victorian villas and Edwardian semi-detached homes that were built to a higher specification than the working-class terrace housing of the Black Country.
