Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, it is illegal for anyone other than a Gas Safe registered engineer to connect a gas appliance. This applies to every retailer — Currys PC World, AO.com, John Lewis, Argos, Very, and all others.
The delivery team can position the cooker but cannot touch the gas connection. You need a Gas Safe registered engineer. That's us — and we cover all of the West Midlands.

We safely disconnect and move your old appliance. The gas point is capped safely while we prepare the new connection.
A brand-new compliant gas hose is included. You don't need to buy one from Currys or AO — it's included in the £90.

A Gas Safe certificate is issued on completion and handed to you. Required for your home insurance and valuable if you sell your home.

Built-in hobs including Neff, Bosch, Smeg, AEG. We handle the gas connection and certificate — electrical to be done separately.
