Our mobile catering gas certificate starts at £150 for 1 appliance. Each additional appliance is £40. So 2 appliances = £190, 3 appliances = £230, 4 appliances = £270, and so on. You'll always know the full price before we start.
Yes. If you trade at events, markets, or festivals, the event organiser will almost always ask for a current gas safety certificate before you're allowed to trade. Your public liability insurance may also require one. It is a legal requirement for all gas appliances to be regularly inspected by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
We are Gas Safe registered for Mobile Catering LPG appliances. Under fryers: deep fat fryers, pressure fryers, fish fryers. Under range cookers: hobs, burners, griddles, flat tops, wok burners, chargrills, crepe makers, gas-fired bain maries, and kebab machines. Under water heaters: instantaneous/combi water heaters.
A typical mobile catering van inspection takes 45–90 minutes depending on the number of appliances. We test each appliance individually, check pipework, connections, gas pressures, and ventilation, then issue your certificate on the spot.
